Relax, Stretch and Breathe for Pregnant Women

Monday lunchtime 12.300-14.00 and Thursday evenings 18.15-19.45

Suitable for women from 13th week of pregnancy

These weekly, women only classes use gentle yoga based activities and stretches and an informal childbirth preparation class to prepare women for birth. The physical part of the classes focus on breathing and relaxation techniques, positions and asanas to support women's strength, flexibility and comfort during pregnancy whilst helping to prepare their bodies and minds for birth.  Each session includes a a 15-20 minute discussion time at the end to cover specific topics, or discuss whatever questions are important to the group, facilitated by me, an experienced and well qualified childbirth educator as as well as a prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher.  Women have an enjoyable and relaxing time, whilst improving their physical and emotional wellbeing and helping ready themselves for a positive birth experience.  


The postures and stretches are very gentle and are specially designed so that you can attend throughout your pregnancy.


For all mothers this is a chance for a peaceful, relaxing time each week, concentrating on yourself and your new baby and your wishes for birth and early parenting days.  Whether you are a first time mum, or have children already, this can be a wonderful opportunity to meet other mothers and ask questions, hear real life stories and learn practical tips from other mums.
