The courses are held at the Kindermusik studio at Leimgrubenweg 9, 4053 Basel. See the map below for details.
This is a great space for the course as it has lots of space for the physical activities, such as breathing exercises, massage and different positions for labour. Please be aware however that you will need to sit on gym balls or mats or cushions on the floor (but we will keep moving regularly, so you won't seize up on the floor, I promise).
Some insurance companies will refund the cost of the structured group courses, however as I am not a Swiss midwife, not all will. Please be assured though that I am a trained childbirth educator and prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher.
Responsibility and liability:
Please understand and accept that these courses do not provide medical information or care, and you remain responsible for your own healthcare and well being and for the decisions you make as you become parents. I can accept no responsibility for any outcomes from the course or during your birth or parenting experiences. Any medical questions or concerns you have should be addressed to your doctor.
The structured group courses are limited to seven couples, and places are allocated on a first come first serve basis for those couples confirming their attendance. If fewer than three couples enroll in a specific course the course format and hours may be amended to reflect the small group. The RSB group is limited to 14 women and RSBwB limited to 10 mothers and babies.
